While many baits are supposed to imitate a prey fish as closely as possible, the Drunk Bait goes a step further and imitates a staggering, almost drunk-looking potential victim - hence the name Drunk Bait!
DRUNK BAIT - THE PERFECT PREY FISH - 8cm, 16cm & 20cm.
The " drunk effect " is created by a very thin tail wrist to a relatively large paddle tail, which sends strong pressure waves at high frequency as a bite stimulus to the predatory fish. The unusual appearance and staggering behaviour of the “ drunkies ” can make all the difference, especially when the fishing pressure is high and the number of prey fish is high.
The Drunk Bait with its 8cm was developed for zander and perch fishing, but has also been able to tempt a number of pike, asp, catfish and even carp to bite. Since the action of the bait is only generated in the last third, relatively large jig heads can be used - 3/0 to 4/0.
The larger Drunk Bait in 16cm version is ideal for catching Pike, Zander and even saltwater species. LMAB spent 2 years of intensive testing to develop Drunk Bait 16cm. As the bait is designed to catch larger fish, the connection to the paddle tail has been designed much sturdier to withstand very powerful bites. Additionally the updated tail design ensures maximum compressional waves are produced and as the bait flanks intensively from side to side. 32g in weight, mount with a 6/0 hook.
The larger Drunk Bait in 20cm version is the largest in the range and ideal for catching Pike, big Zander and even saltwater species.
Similar to the above, the connection to the paddle tail has been designed much sturdier to withstand very powerful bites. Additionally the updated tail design ensures maximum compressional waves are produced and as the bait flanks intensively from side to side. 50g in weight, mount with a 10/0 hook.
